My Memories Suite Giveaway

It's time for a GIVEAWAY!

Yep....A giveaway!

A few weeks back I was contacted by Liz of My Memories Suite by Polaroid offering their software to one of my readers.  To make it even better they gave me this code

STMMMS70103

to give to ALL my readers....Yep to EVERYONE. This code gives you $10 off the Memories Suite software and a $10 coupon for the My Memories store. Totally Awesome!

I wanted to review the software first to see what all the fuss was about. After all just because something's free don't make it good.

My first impression was it's scrapbooking software and I'm a baker.  Right?  Well Wrong.....it's not just for scrapbooking. Don't get me wrong I love to scrapbook but this program was extra special to me because I could use it for so many things.

I played around with it quite a bit and was able to create many things. I made scrapbooking layouts,  cupcake toppers, and my all time favorite were Christmas gift tags.

Who doesn't love cute gift tags for your Christmas gifts? Seriously I hate buying them from the store and always seem to forget to even buy them. Next thing you know I'm writing names on my pretty packaging with a Sharpie.....NOT COOL.

I made these Christmas tags in all of FIVE minutes. Literally....took me about FIVE minutes.

Know what else? For all you bloggers it's great for displaying your photographs on your blog. This is a recap of cookies I made before Thanksgiving. Cute huh?

You loving it?  Exactly my thoughts. I wanna sit here and play with layouts for my blog pictures, but it's keeping me from baking.....So let's get to the giveaway.

The giveaway will end on December 11th at Midnight. Central time.

Sound good?

Mr. Claus......

That's right SANTA.

You can't properly do a corset for Mrs. Claus and not do something for Santa.  It's just not right.

So I thought and thought and came up with BLAHHH nothing.  My mind is just in other places right now...sorry it just is.

HOWEVER........I couldn't leave you with nothing for the big man.  So I made Santa's belt on a round cookie. I know, I know,  It's been done before in different forms. BUT, it's what I got okay.  Sometimes we just all have similar ideas.

When you think Santa, you think red and round right? SO....simple, yes a simple round cutter. If you cookie, chances are you have a round cutter.

Take the round cutter and make some round cookies. SIMPLE right?

Outline in red royal icing, then fill with a 15-20 second red icing.

Add a belt with black royal icing and let dry for several hours.

Add buckle with a yellow royal icing.....add gold disco dust and there you have it. SIMPLE Santa cookies.

Now if you wanna get fancy hop on over to

Sweet SugarBelle's

and see what she's whipping up tomorrow. She's going to take you step by step to make some adorable Santa cookies at

Katrina's Kitchen

. But that's tomorrow.

Today you just have me and you are stuck with my simple Santa belts.

Good things are to come though. I've got some really cute cookies coming using my ornament cutters from

Fancy Flours

.
